About Us
Hello. Our names are Chad and Kate and we recently got married in September 2009. We share many loves, but one of them happens to be beer – and good beer at that. We’ve had many fun times while enjoying microbrews and even our very own homebrews and thought – hey – this could be something!
As beer lovers and brewers ourselves, we thought it would be of particular interest to you all since the site is for beer lovers – more specifically craft beer lovers, microbrewers and home brewers alike! We’re taking a special look at Erie and the Tri-State Area’s wealth of good beer and how big of a community it really has become.
Since this had become such a large community we thought what better way to socially lubricate it, such as our friend Beer does, than create a website where we can all come together and discuss one of our favorite topics and past times…Beer. Our plan involves food and beer recipes, forums, interviews, reviews, beers of the month, now serving, weekly specials, and eventually pints, shirts, and events, etc…
We want to welcome you to this journey and hope that you will help us brew this experience into as much of yours as it is ours. Here’s to quenching all thirst!

Wow .. your page is really coming along nicely. Haven’t checked in for some time, and am very impressed with the progress! Hope to catch up with you at another brewfest. I will probably go to the Frozen Falls fest in Garretsville on Jan. 31st, but will more likely see you at the next BrewErie event. Happy new year! All the best in 2009 for you both!

Hey guys don’t know if you remember me but I was sitting at your table at the Six Pack HOB christmas party with my girlfriend and talked beer with you guys briefly. Anyhow cool site just stumbled across it today for the first time.

Just happened across the site and you guys have done a very nice job. I was looking for further information on the Beer on the Bay fest in July of this year thats how i stumbles across the site. I just realized that the erie beer fest is in April (24th) but I had already purchased tickets to a nice festival ( we will see since it is the 1st) in Boardman, Ohio called the big tap in. there is a link on Beer advocate calander for April. Look forward to getting to Erie in the warmer weather and enjoying some good Beer.

Beer on the Bay (this year on July 24th) is put on by ErieBrewing and the Erie Micro Brew Fest is actually on April 17th – so you should be good to go
