Beer on the Bay 2009

The second annual Beer on the Bay has been announced for July 25th, 2009. This event had a large turnout last year along with great reviews.
Where: Erie’s Pepsi Amphitheater
When: Saturday, July 25th, 2009
Time: 2 Sessions
Session 1: 12pm-3pm doors open at 11:30pm
Session 2: 5pm-8pm Doors open at 4:30pm
This is an outdoor event and is rain or shine. The 2nd Annual Beer on the Bay Festival at the Pepsi Amphitheater will feature live blues music from Otis James and the Blues Benders, over 100 + beers to sample from many of the regions finest microbreweries, and breath taking views of Presque Isle State Park and Lake Erie. Food and Drink concessions will be available. Proceeds of this year’s Beer on the Bay Festival will benefit the MS Society.

I’ll be there for the 1st session. Hope the weather is as good as last year. Really a nice fest. Not seeing Weyerbacher on the brewers list yet, so hope they will be a late addition. It would be nice to see Stoudt’s show up, but they are hosting their own fest that weekend. Well, Great Lakes is going to be there, so I know there will be plenty of good stuff to drink.

Last year weyerbacher was a last minute addition. So we’ll see if they decide to come this year.

This was our first “beer fest” and definitely not our last! Had a blast and hopefully we can make it to Beer on the Bay again. The folks at Erie Brewing Co. are awesome!
